Default Front Diff Leak VS Sweating?

I discovered something interesting today from my local Porsche dealer. I asked them about a car that I am looking at that had sweating coming from the front diff and how they would treat it with CPO warranty covered car. To my surprise, it is apparently common for this to happen on 997TT's and that they will only repair if it is actually leaking - dripping onto the floor.

Has anyone had this happen to them - front diff "sweating" - and been denied warranty repair? Is it true that it is common for this type of thing on these cars?

I read something about this on this forum. Turns out it was one of the two seals in the diff. One is replaceable the other is not and requires a new diff. Look for a post about diff fluid on the ground.

Yes, they try and categorize it based on of it leaks on the floor or not. You'd think they'd have a better way!

Sweating is usually a term associated to condensation. How did you see this "sweating"? The front diff is concealed by the front under tray. Also exactly where was the moisture coming from?
