My new (to me) 997.1TT - 2008 Cobalt Blue Cab
First off, thanks to everyone that helped me with the DME report and for the advice in purchasing a preowned 997TT.
I went down to the dealership in Austin today and made a deal for an 2008 997.1TT, manual. I traded in my 2009 C2 PDK. The car has 35K miles on it, CPO until July 2015, and the dealership performed the 36K maintenance as part of the CPO. The car is in great shape and drives great. The car has a clear bra on it that I will probably remove, or get redone since its somewhat old now.
What a difference!! The turbo is a complete kick in the ***!!
On a side note, unknown to the dealer, but the previous owner installed a bluetooth module and sirius satellite, all tied in through the factory PCM, so that was a nice little surprise.

Congrats ! What a beautiful car , cobalt is one of the colors that will command a premium in the future. It is that nice !
Question , how did/do you feel in losing PCM3 ?
From reading here and elsewhere it seems nobody really cares much ?
How about you ?

To be honest, the PCM2 really does look dated compared to the PCM3. The navigation for one is outdated, and the controls are as well, plus its not touch screen. I guess what makes it easier to accept is that the previous owner installed bluetooth and Sirius, so that makes up for the fact that it looks much worse than PCM3. But ultimately what I told myself prior to the purchase was that the PCM interface is just one part of the car. Im gaining so much elsewhere that I'm willing to sacrifice on of the technology. At the end of the day it serves the purpose of being a radio, but now at least I can enjoy the Turbo as well!

Awesome, I love that color. Looks so cool w/ the seat backs too. Looks like it's got some good options. How much did you pay? Just curious since I bought a non-CPO car that has similar options and mileage.

Awesome! I'm in Houston- check out expel? film seemed like really nice guys and I think that is a high quality clear bra. If you have the bra PLEASE have it removed at the time the new one is being applied you will not want stone chips on that perfect paint.
My tech friend moved from Brian Harris to RBP in Austin- great guy his name is Webster.
Later this yr I'll be bringing my midnight blue TT out that way - cheers!! Cobalt is BEAUTIFUL!!

Congrats on your purchase. It looks to be a great example, love the color Now you just need to get Interior LED Lighting Kit. Enjoy and exercise that top often.
