Got the TT back on Friday.. They did a great job.. The only good thing to come of this accident is a clean bumper cover (no front plate) new clear bra, spoiler lip and a coolant flush and AC recharge.

Sorry for the crappy picture but it looks beautiful..

Saturday I want for a spin in my favorite twisties. I forgot how awesome this car is..

Well, I'm happy too !!!

And true, we quickly forget what a great car the 997 turbo is but when you drive it all is good !

I love my car. Can't see myself replacing it any time soon.

Congrats! But did they put a clear bra on it already? Without letting the paint cure first?

The bumper was painted almost 2 week ago. It was the other parts and other delays that I had to wait for.. The guy who did the clear bra did an amazing job..He did the clear bra on Friday.

Thanks for all the kind words gentlemen. I guess I was a little too excited about getting my car back. On the way home from the gym yesterday I got tagged for speeding. First ticket in many many years..

I guess things come in bunches., The officer said to me "do you know why I stopped you?" And I said "Because you like Porsches?" He was not amused. He went on to say that "I was driving like an idiot"... I'll let you fill in the rest....

Actually better because I know how to drive it now! But yes.. 3 weeks away make you realize what an amazing car this is..
