Taking questions?
Are the cars tied down and if yes, how?
Why Rotterdam and not a port in Belgium?
Do you consider roll on/off and what where the big issues?
Thanks and have a GREAT trip.

I fly into Rotterdam in the evening on July 2nd and plan to pick up the car the following day if all goes well. My plan is to drive back to our base in Lake Como Italy over the next day or so. Not really sure about the route yet but may try to go past the Nurburgring at that time. It would be cool to meet up, let's pm each other our contact information.

Cars are tied down through the wheels and secured to the sides of the container as well as being chocked at each wheel. Does it make me happy? no, but I purchased $150K insurance for the voyage...
Rotterdam was the best option vs Nice or Bremmerhaven because we do no have to post bond there right now. Bond is as much as 30% of value and would tie up the money for approx 6 months in total. Not a trip killer but definitely lighter on the wallet this way...
Car may go back RoRo if my friend with the GTR and I can't coordinate to come home at the same time. We both have pretty open ended return dates aside from the 60 day insurance we both purchased...
Thanks!
