In my experience, getting some dealers to CPO a car with mods isn't difficult. It's getting them(or PCNA) to honor the CPO when a problem arises that can be challenging.

About the comment on miles, I swear, I never see these cars and I live in the SF Bay Area?! What gives?
Are owners just using them on Sundays?
I could not imagine not driving it that often...
It would be like marrying a Victoria secret model just to look at her...

Overall feel of the TT is way more refined and luxurious, must be a lot more carpet and padding on the floorboards of the TT. TT in my opinion is the ultimate daily driver. Without boost, it drives like my previous '03 C4S, but with boost, it would eat the GT3 from a power perspective.
To me, I like all the leather, the comfort and the wide-body. I also like to know I have the power when I need it. I always felt like I had to wring-out the GT3 to get power, therefore driving it was never that relaxing. It was almost like driving a motorcycle. In the GT3 I felt I had to almost prove it's power to other motorists, whereas the TT is more known and people tend to know not to challenge you.
If you are a track racer, GT3 is the better choice. I am not a racer, so moving to the TT was the move I realized I needed to make for the lifestyle I live (drive to work daily, and take the kids around town on weekend).
I will say the GT3 was literally unbelievable to drive. I still cannot believe the factory makes cars that raw and powerful (and dangerous). I love that I can say I owned and experienced one, and will never say the TT is a better car. The TT is just a better car for me.

Compared to the GT3, power comes on smoothly and very strong. A lot of torque which is nice around town. Handling is more relaxed and it will soak up the road imperfections and pot-holes. I don't scrape the front lip on anything with the TT since it is at least an inch higher than the GT3. And finally the clutch, the TT clutch pedal is almost non-existent compared to the GT3. Driving a 6 speed TT is almost like driving an automatic...it is that smooth.

What you are describing is a bit like my experience with the BMW E92 M3 I sold recently and replaced with my current '08 997TT. M3 is not as track defined as GT3, but has similar NA derived power and torque issues on the road or track. After all the hot rods I've had, including E39 M5 (sweet car), Audi S4, Dinan 335i and M3, this TT is truly the gentleman's hot rod.

Agreed, lack of torque for daily driving is really an issue for me. Sometimes I like to start off in 2nd gear if I am rolling, and in the GT3 I just couldn't do that without a lot of shuttering.
I just drove the TT 110 miles today and it was like a luxury car, with tons of HP for passing and embarrassing others who thought they could keep up. I was thinking today while I was driving, "this is the perfect car for me"

I sold your GT3 trade in the other day, went to orange county NY. He was thrilled to have it. I needed 3 weeks to have done it myself as I really wanted that car for myself. Anyway glad you are enjoying that turbo, told you it was the right car for you.
