You know... why not swap it out? Life is too short. I dropped my topped all through winter, seat warmers on etc... and loved it. I'm hooked on the cab. I feel clastrophobic at times now with the top up and if it's not raining will drop it on the fly. Total pleasure.

Definitely good point... live is way too short. I would swap it out but if I got a cab, I'd definitely want the hard top as well... and right now (living situations), it's not easy for me to take that hard top on and off. Also...sometimes I feel like I'm living in a fishbowl when driving the turbo around town so having a cab would only magnify that feeling.

Understood. For some reason I don't feel that in Vancouver. There are so many Porsches up here I figure the average guy on the street doesn't even notice. I also live in a younger hip neighbourhood where they may be more interested in a Prius or Smart car.
