I realized after looking at several light colored 997TT's that the vent on the rear fenders upset the lines IMHO. The reason is the dividing line in the middle of the vent. Ferrari, NSX, Viper Lotus etc most cars just have a large opening. The divider looks cumbersome to me.
Has anyone with a light colored car either wrapped this in matte black as sort of an attempt to make it vanish or found a way to file it away yet leaving all smooth and stock looking?
I think it is, but you have to replace the plastic guide behind it too. Then you have to remove the bar that the vent cover bar, well, covers. That's what I was told, I haven't looked at it closely.
