Default Engine replaced?

This popped up on a vehicle history of a 997tt for sale near the area, would this be a positive or negative?
Probably call the servicing dealer tomorrow for more information, hmmm.

Fresh engine at 12k, sounds good to me.
I would consider it a plus.

Car currently has 60k on it.
Will follow up when I get any details on why it was replaced.
Not that I have any delusions that a toy car is a financial investment - I am just curious as to what that could do to the future marketability of the car.
2 votes for plus
I'll call you two first if I end up with this one and ever decide to sell.

Turns out the report was wrong.
There was a variocam issue, and the engine was removed as well as the intake cam on one bank to remedy the problem, reassembled then engine put back in.

Going to see that one on Monday, someone from SC purchased the other one I was trying to look at. Hope he's a rennlister.
