GT2-RS wheels on a .2 997 TTS?

I am getting ready to put the GT3RS wheels on my 997.2 turbo and the biggest question in my mind is the ratio. Obviously the 245 35 19's work in the front with the 325 30 19's but the difference according to the tire size calculator is 3.5% like @WaltB had stated before. But the tire that keeps the perfect ratio is stepping up to the 255 35 19's in front. Is this just to much tire to fit up front with the 9" width and ET48 offset?

I went with stock GT2 sizes and everything seems to work just fine... no weird ABS flare ups or traction PSAM lights.

I'm doing the same thing (stock suspension for now). It will be a few months for it all to come together since my Michelin PS4S are backordered. Wheels are currently getting powdercoated though. All my research shows that .2 RS spec wheels and tires will fit .2TT just fine. Can't speak to modded suspension though.

So, just want to confirm, nobody's had issues running the 245 / 325 setup on a .2 TTS? I've seen others do it and it seems to run fine and not cause diff. issues.

I am running the above setup (non winter) OEM GT2 ... I too had looked at going bigger on the front tire to knock down the ratio but was told that it becomes too much tire on the front and screws up the handling. I had been emailing with some people who were building 1000HP + cars in the middle east and they were using the larger size front tire for drag racing...
I will say though... with the GT2 setup & PS2 cup tires, it clearly felt like the car was over tired and not able to utilize the tires for adheson (even with the DSC module). I then proceeded to add a OEM GT2 rear sway bar (which will only work on .1 and .2 stick cars... no PDK as it will not fit..... TPC racing has a rear sway bar that will work on PDK cars). The sway bar helped tremendously but still not as GT2/3 feeling as I was hoping for. Lastly, I had a more aggressive alignment by South Shore Performance on Long Island... now that really brought the car into its own.
a couple of caveats...
1. .1 and .2 TTs have completely different rear suspension setups. Different rear springs (fronts are the same) and shock setups. .1 cars have linear springs rated at 80 N/mm. the .2 have progressive springs rated for 60/ to N/mm. So that being said, what works on a .1 car might not feel the same in a .2
2. to get the front end to match a GT2/3 alignment.. you have to change some components to get the range of adjustability (I didn't feel the need to go that route)
3. you will definitely need a larger sway bar at the rear.. so if PDK, you can't use OEM GT2.

I had GT2RS/GT3RS wheels on my 997 GTS (same specs as 997TT) and the rears fit perfectly but the fronts protruded about 1/2 inch too far out beyond fender. This is the reason the GT2RS and GT3RS have the added front fender arches. It wasn't a big issue and didn't effect driving, but to me I didn't love the look of the front wheels like that.

You could test the fitment by putting a 15mm spacer up front on the stock Turbo wheels - the GT2 wheels are 12mm wider, so 6mm each side, and the offset is 9mm more aggressive.

stock setup but with an alignment as close to GT2 spec without changing front end components. I added the OEM GT2 rear sway bar as before the car felt “overtired” in the rear running Cup tires. (The sway bar won’t fit on a PDK car… will have to look elsewhere)… mine is a manual.

I’ve gotten so used to these, when I put the regular wheels back on it reminded me of the 1980s cars where the body was too big for the wheelbase. They definitely fill out to the fenders.
There is a rear sway bar available that fits pdk; mine has one. I think it is Eibach.

I was interested to see of the GT2 RS CENTRE lock wheels had different offsets to the 5 lug version on the earlier car?
