Well done Jerry. Car is gorgeous!
I am sure that spacers are not required if these are wide body champions, they offsets are spot on.
I do agree with the lowering recommendation, but I hear you when you say no. I was really apprehensive as well. Just be sure that the nice painted front lip will be no longer. Small price to pay tho.
What did you use to clean the wheels and detail the car?

Three Wheelin'
I bought lowering springs for my previous 997 turbo and in the mean time I feel the same like you and doubt I'll ever install them. Still not sure what to do. I like the way it looks stock and Belgium roads are notoriously bad so why bother...

Joel the wheels are Champion Motorsport MS61's they are the magnesium version of the 171's.
As far as lowering I dont have any plans on doing it. It sits a little bit high but in person doesnt look as exagerated as in the photos. The wheels and tires are flush with the fenders so no need for spacers. Post pics of your car when you get it back!!

Looks great! I remember when you mentioned the Magnesium wheels upon purchasing the Turbo; matches the car perfectly.
FWIW, not having the car lowered and enjoying its current driveability, ingress and egress is a bit simpler. Later, if you feel the need for a tighter suspension, then do it.....
Don't freak out when you do find a new scratch or rock chip!

Did you just clean the wheel wells??? Time to upgrade with Carbon rotors, you know, since you went to all the trouble to take the wheels off!!

Believe it or not last March, I am not kidding. I drove about 400 miles last year. My back wheel got chipped in my garage. Nobody knows or they are not claiming responsibility at home. Wheel is being fixed. My wife's BMW Z-4 looks just like it. I wash my under carriage once a year, in fact all my vehicles look like that. Even the 2010 Prius, yep you heard right I own a Prius. My second favorite car!

Looks great Boeing! Like you I'm not racing to lower either. Sure the lowered car has a tougher look from certain angles when stationary but once moving you really can't notice much of a difference imo. An alignment will help with the stance too. I'd knock on the .1 neg on the front and you'll find the wheels sit better on the car and the steering sharpens up quite noticeably. Tire wear is the same so no issues there. Good luck with it!

Splendid looking car.
I already have scraping problems with the front lip, so not lowering.
I think I read in the manual that the Sport Chrono button lowers the suspension some.
