Default Help with my first TT purchase

Hello,
I want to say thank you for all the help full info on this forum.
I'm shopping for my first TT.
I have my eye on a 09 TT cab. He owner says it has all the bells and whistles. What scares me is it has 39k miles. He said all schedule Maintenance has been done. The spark plugs have not been changed, and from I read it is pricey and due at 40k.
Any advice would be appreciated.

What is a fair price to pay for a dealership inspection? Are there different levels of inspections?

Btw....I'm coming from a ZO6.....I'm excited for my new journey

Could be a GREAT car. 09 is the one too get.

39k? Nothing on these Mezger engines. Its just getting broken in...

I paid ~ $500 for a pre-purchase inspection that in cluded a DME looking for over revs. I think that's a average price.

Exciting! Pics? Color? Manual or Tiptonic? Options list? Warranty?

Joel

Barrier Porsche in Seattle did my PPI on an 07 Turbo. $375 included the DME printout w overrev report. Seemed to be pretty thorough.

Congrats on you serach. PPI's vary depending on you relationship with your dealer or indy shop. I paid 250 for PPI/DME through a dealer but there's a strong relationship there. Don't be alarmed by the mileage as long as the car has been maintained properly and passes PPI/DME you're good.

As Joel mentioned post the option list, these cars have a myriad of options, some which are vital others which are not the forums can help guide you into a properly optioned car, also something to consider when selling down the road.

I know that I may be in the minority here but a TT with 39k on it (If it was well maintained) Can be just like a new car. I bought mine with 33k and I now have 61k. I drive it everyday. Only had one issue with a clutch accumulator.. You should look at all service records and definetly get a inspection done..

My car is silly fast and the only flaw is a few wrinkles in the drivers seat..

If you're freaked out about miles (and you shouldn't be) maybe look for another car...

Try to find a CPO car at a dealer (Porsche extended warranty) if you want more assurance...Or is that insurance.. Whatever..
