Default Steering wheel

Just placed order for 997.2 steering wheel. Should be here in 1.5 weeks. I went with the attached in multifunction. Further customization will follow in time, thicker, carbon = MACARBON. OEM carbon multifunction will be for sale shortly if anyone is interested.

Super nice. Any configuration issues with your .1 Vs. .2 steering wheel? Larger airbag? I'll be putting in the new .2 Classic spoked and need the new airbag. I think Philip did that too.

haven't received it yet so I cant speak to configuration issues. Parts required an on order: steering wheel, airbag, multifunction control/black faceplate, steering controle module. According to what I've read, you will need to download the data from the .1 module, replace the unit with .2 module and upload data downloaded previously.

This makes sense as I did a test fit on a .2 and 991 multifunction, everything worked except the use of the multifunction buttons.

Cool. That's what I have too but I really like the look of the new Classic with the chrome spokes. I think it would look great with my "550 Panamerica Spyder silver over red leather" throw back look.

I think it's Denis then that retrofitted his with this steerging wheel.

FFS we must be bored. Let's all hit the road and open things up!
