That's just wrong... Not the concept but the execution...If a 911 was supposed to have a V8 it would have a V8.. Last summer I saw a V8 conversion at a Porsche show. It was a sleeper and looked like stock. At least that car was done properly. This car is a "car wreck"..

Ruf has a V8 intended for use in 911s.
Not sure for which 911 models the engine is intended for. Or maybe it is a just for cars produced by Ruf?
I can't recall now but one of the UK published indy Porsche mags had a write up on this and the word was the engine worked very well in the car.
I have no doubt... But RUF is in a class of it's own when it comes to P Cars.. They fabricate everything themselves and build their own engines. If anyoe could put a V8 in a Porsche and do it right it would be RUF... But this car is still a car wreck..
