Looks like a beautiful car. I just picked up an 09 cab, triple black 6spd with 16,000mi for 85,900. The sticker on mine was lower though, 147,000. Hope this helps.

Wow. That is a BEAUTIFULL TT cab. My last C2S was Silver over Sea Blue and I loved it. Great options. Good price. An 09 to boot. Go for it.

What's the other TT beside it?

Price I can't help you. I'm not current on market prices for the 997 Turbos.

As for the other thing...

I use my BBQ grill on weekends. My 996 Turbo I use all time. About 1900 miles per month on average since I bought in June 2009.

My 996 Turbo is a very very nice car. The 997 Turbo I imagine is too, only more so.

And your going to use it about as often as I use my BBQ grill, or you use your lawnmower.

Sigh.

Anyhow, you hould have no concern for as long as the car remains under CPO coverage.

 

A few days ago people commented on a coupe '08 tiptronic for $80k as under priced. That car had more miles than this '09.
This one is a manual, a cabrio and has lots of options. Sea blue is very dark and looks stunning in real. GT Silver is a top color on any Porsche, certainly on a TT.
The 2009 is the ultimate turbo (any year) imo.
At that price it wont be for sale for long. Go for it after you had the paint checked and DME read out. Good luck !

 

It looks like a very good value with CPO warranty. I didn't see shots of the interior, maybe being blue makes it a tougher sale. Offer them 80 and see what happens. Did you drive it yet? BTW, don't worry about 28k miles it's not a big deal.

I hope to be able to test drive it in a couple of days. I've been told it is currently undergoing the CPO process. I will try to take a look at it today in their shop.

 

Looks like a bad re spray on front bumper. Paint does not match. Look at it

 

I'm curious why the dealer listed it as an 09 with 480 hp and 3.6 liter engine. Wasn't there a change in 09 to 500 hp and the 3.8 liter engine? The dealer should know that. Also agree it looks like the front has been repainted, and not very well. The dealer also says the Carfax is clean but that really doesn't mean much (IMO) to me anymore. Buyer beware-

Contacted one dealer online on a 2007 TT 25,000 miles at 75k price its a tip
but dealer didn't want to take any offers lower yet.Once the snow flies here won't look until spring.

 

I noticed that too, but the majority of metallic gray and metallic silver porsche bumpers don't match even when they are brand new from the factory. I noticed this regularly when I was hunting for my car and the cause of the difference in color is multifold (you guys probably already know this). 1) Porsche sprays the bumpers at a different facility separate from the body of the car. (2) They use a flex agent in the paint for the bumpers which impacts the shade slightly and (3) the impact of static charge that builds up on the plastic bumpers makes the metallic flakes in the paint "stand up". When you add all these together you almost always wills see a color difference in bumpers of the gray and silver metallics especially in the sun (the very dark metallics hide the difference better)

The color difference is most noticeable in direct sunlight which makes the metallic flakes pop more on the bumpers and hence they will appear a shade darker than the body. However in the shade or ambient light the difference should be barely noticeable whereas in these pics it seems the color difference is pronounced in the shade. The best way to have this checked is with a paint meter and an expert eye. The paint meter will let you know if the bumper has been resprayed, you will typically see readings of 300-400 microns on a hand done respray of the bumpers. This doesn't necessarily mean the car was wrecked, but dealers will respray for wear and tear on the bumper.

If you confirm it is actual factory paint then I would not touch it, if it is a bad respray and the rest of the car checks out clean then have them replace the bumper or respray it again to a better match. IMO a resprayed bumper on a used porsche is not a big deal as long as it was not in a collision and just touched up for cosmetic purposes (ie road rash and rock chips)

I was able to test drive the car this morning after all. It appears that the front piece was replaced in the past; it definitely has a different color; the salesman could not provide details. There are a couple of rock chips in it so it was replaced some time ago. The car feels a bit beat up. Inside there's a small cut in the front seat leather. The emergency brake is all scratched up. What is even more strange is that navigation does not appear to be installed. The car has an aluminum steering wheel, which some people might like, but I prefer leather.

All in all, it did not give me a lot of confidence.
