Hi All,
Bought myself a PIWIS clone cable from China and have a version 5 download of durametrics can anybody with experience advise please.
Is it simply a case of plug 'n play? Are there any no - no's/ any way I can do damage to my DME etc.
I believe the ignition needs to be on for the software to communicate does this have a detramental affect on the ignition coils etc. Just want access to fault codes etc rather than paying Porsche a Kings ransom.
Thanks,
Rob

Do yourself a favor and get the actual Durametric cable. Given the prices of our cars, Durametric is very reasonably priced and I can vouch for the fact that it work.
Good luck.
Good luck.
