Can anyone tell me if they had issues with the 09 models crossing the border and registering issues. Your advice on this forum is excellent thanks everyone for contributing to it, without your advice I would of never known to look at the DME report.

Thanks

Allen

I would think the car probably has around 30K miles, is that correct ?

If the body checks out OK and since it's a CPO, I would say it is a good deal.

These are great cars enjoy in good health

Sounds like a good deal, go for it! My 09 TT is, I think, my "keeper", probably won't ever sell it. I think it may be destined to be the last of the breed (GT1 block) and I expect it will be sought after for a long time.

Default Deal fell through with stealership but I got something better

Well the stealership sells the car on me when my transfer was just about to go through(at the touch of a button) and the sales guy who suddenly stops communicating wouldn't respond to our calls, we decided to call the sales manager who then gets the sales guy to call us telling me that the car may of been sold. The whole deal was really fishy as the sales guy keeps on asking for the wire transfer when he never sent legible copies of a bill of sale to me. The whole transaction was terrible, this has got to be one of the worst places I have ever dealt with. I will definetly never deal with Mckenna porsche in California. Now for the good news I decided to go with a 2008 model instead with 8000 miles and yellow with ceramic brakes, I wanted a standard but decided on the tip tropic as I drive a lot of city, and I enjoyed it. The inconvience of the stop and go traffice where I live is dumbfounded. I will miss The new stereo head and the ventilated seats, CPO warranty. But I got the ceramics brakes and adaptive seats and a lot more car with way less mileage.

I have just placed a deposit payment on a 2008 997TT Cab/Tip here down under in Melbourne and the car is costing me more than twice of what you are paying, huge price difference.

This will be my 4th Porsche and all I can say is that once you have owned one you can never go back, its like its in your blood, there is nothing else quite like a 911.

just go for it, you will never look back.

Thanks, in the end that deal fell thru. I am now a proud owner of a 08tt speed yellow that has 8000miles/12000kms for $82500. It has PCCB's adaptive seats, and lots of extra goodies. Can't wait for it as it is on its way from Colorado to Vancouver, BC Canada.
