This is the one Porsche I have owned where I don't worry about re sale or how many miles I put on it. The stock 997TT - 1 Mezger engine is capable of 700 hp without doing any internal engine mods. The flash (on pump gas) adds maybe 60-75 (approx) crank hp. This engine CAN EASILY handle that HP

The only people I know that have blown up these motors were running big turbos (and or) a bad Methanol set-up. And obviouly didn't have a good tuner...

The ECU flash makes the car run like it should. Our cars (whether Euro or U.S spec) are choked to meet emission and fuel / oil consumption standards.

I don't agree with the "concern" that somehow the Flash from Promotive, Softronic, GIAC, Evoms etc will "harm" the engine or cause abnormal wear on engine components. As long as you use a quality oil and change it frequently (as well as spark plugs and other scheduled maintenance) you will have no problems..

I say make the car fast and drive the crap out of it. That's what is was made for...When it's done buy another one..

That's my opinion anyway... I'm sure I'll get flamed for this but it's the truth..

Mat i can't recall if your car is tip or stick? Which is it?. If it is manual then if you tune it you need to include a clutch in the spend.

Welcome aboard. Your car looks great as well as the slate floor of your garage.
