Not that gas mileage was a concern when I bought the car but thought I would check to see how I was doing my first few months of ownership. I'm at 20 mpg with spirited driving (and I'm definately not that guy shifting at 2,500 rpm) and would guess that half of my travels are on the freeway.

What do you average?

I am averaging 18.6 versus 16.8 when we left CA.

What changed (you pick what works):

60K service with new plugs
93 octane in NC not the 91 we had in CA
Europipe exhaust installed
No nearby on ramps for boost checks
Lotta Prius here; maybe I am trying to show them something

16.5 in the city and 23-25 on the hwy.

Average 16-ish mostly in town. Love to feel that acceleration.....
