Possible 997.1 Turbo Presale
There's a chance I'll be throwing my turbo up for sale next week. I'm in the debating phase right now but its highly likely. I love it as much as you guys would expect. The issue is it doesnt serve my life well enough (skiing, mt biking, kids, etc.). Going to be a tough decision.
in any case, I'll give you first shot to inquire. PM me with questions.
I bought it 13 months ago, CPO from NY with 34k miles on it. It now has ~43k.
6 speed manual
sport seats
sport steering wheel
aftermarket exhaust w stock included
aftermarket rims - tires are getting low. stock rims and tires kept inside and are in like new condition
ceramic brakes - amazing AND no dust.
Mobridge Blutooth/iPod interface
3M clear bra on all forward facing surfaces and rear bumper
Never tracked.
Member of Norcal PCA but havent attended.
Only issues are:
tires are getting low
a few touched up nicks, maybe a handful total.
One quarter size dent just above the windshield on the passenger side from some flying object on the freeway.
a 7" crack in the windshield on the passenger side that occurred during transport. I opted to have it filled rather than break the factory seal. it could be replaced but its fine to me.
Other than those points, its in extremely great condition. I can look into extending the certification since its under 50k miles. Not sure if that's an option or not. stay tuned.
Per the suggestion below, I'll be targeting ~$74k.

I should mention that this should be considered a CPO car. According to Porsche, the extended warranty is transferrable:
"Should you wish to sell your Porsche, you will also benefit from the Pre-owned Porsche Warranty. The remaining warranty is transferred to the new owner. And this will undoubtedly increase the value of your vehicle."

would like your feedback on the value of this car since I havent listed it yet. I see a few very low mile 07s that are also CPO for mid $80k. Not sure how the mileage affects price. Seems like $77k range might be a bit more accurate.
Thoughts?

To the OP - If you have seen Porsche's recent ad campaigns you would know you can use your Porsche everyday. Seriously you can use a turbo year round. Put a roof rack on it and put your bike, snowboard, skis on it. Now that it is a little older and has more miles, you can do this. Of course this is irrelevant if you just want to get rid of the car.

Paid $78k 4mo ago for a completely loaded, CPO with 24k miles. Needed nothing more than a $200 front spoiler lip (not that the one on it was that bad). Came with new tires and 997.2 Turbo wheels. I've seen better deals since. With the nicer weather and improving economy, you might do OK at your price?
