Default 2008 Turbo Cab Pricing

Need some guidance on a heavily optioned 2008 turbo cab I am looking at. 10k mi, $164k list. Car unfortunately is just out of warranty. Having owned an 04 turbo cab, I know how expensive repairs can be once out of warranty. Car is not at a Porsche dealer, thus no cpo. one owner, decent shape but definitely not owned by an **** Porsche guy ( like me). Black spoiler lip beat to ****, a few rock chips ( normal with no clear bra), one very slight ding in the front bumper ( no paint damage and hardly noticeable). Also some chafing on both sides above where the windstop goes in (on both sides) not sure what that is about. Assuming auction prices are probably in the low to mid 80's for these?

Thoughts???

We just traded in an '08 turbo cab two weeks ago to a non-Porsche dealer. They offered in the upper $70s for the car. You are correct that the auction prices are in the mid $80s.

My guess on the interior chafing is that it was done when putting the windstop in and out. Sometimes it is possible to slip and hit the leather.

What else are you asking about? How much is the car listed for?

We have private sellers and dealers on our website so take a look at what they are asking for the Turbo Cab's to get an idea of pricing - www.globalautosports.com

I paid 91k for an 08 Turbo Cab, Meteor Grey over Terracotta with 7k miles last year - but the car was pretty pristine though not heavily optioned (6 Speed, two tone full leather interior, Sport Chrono, Park Distance). I think you should be under 90k nowadays.

Go for it. Get an indy Porsche tech to PPI the car, and realize a good leather repair guy can resolve the interior cosmetics in a few hours. And recognize you are getting one of the greatest Porsche vehicles on the planet, still retaining that time-tested GT1 block (I have an '09, and will be hard pressed to move on when that day comes because of this near bulletproof engine).

Good luck!
