Default New Fabspeed exhaust Tips

I just wanted to thank Alex at Fabspeed for all of his help in acquiring the correct size tips for my car. The first ones sent to me were not the right size and Alex quickly got the correct set returned to me and I finally had them installed. Great company to work with.

Those look very nice. I saw them in person on a 997.1 TT with Europipe.

Keeping mine stock for now in case of LEO stop.

Do you have just the tips or the whole system? I have the fabspeed exhaust and it was not enough sound for my car - did not match the personality of the car so I went ahead and ordered their bypass pipes to make it sound meaner.

I got the wrong size (I am running the 70mm vs. the 62mm) pipes and Alex was also very quick at preparing the 70mm pipes and sending them to me next day air. I installed the 70mm but I am having some issues with the fitment of the right side...the tip, once installed, seems to angle much higher than the right side and it is driving me insane.

I have played with it for 3 hours and frankly doubt that it will fit correctly. I don't want to drive the car like that. It sounds super wicked - so that issue has been addressed.

I need to decide what to do about fitment now. : /

I have the Europipe exhaust. My tips fit perfectly around them, and the sound is great. Call Alex. I'm sure he can be of service in resolving your issue.

What size are these tips ? With no offense, these look bit small as i can see through and through the exhaust cut out ?

I was under the impression and actually have seen quite a few where the cut outs are much better filled ?

Gorgeous car none the less

It might be the angle of the photos as the Fabspeed tips are huge and fill the area quite well. I think what you are seeing is the reflection of the opposite side tip...they are mirror-shiny!

I'm not sure of the exact size, but they are the model that are fitted for the 997.2 Turbo. The first size they sent me was too big believe or not. Yes there is a little noticeable space, but I love the look they give. Thanks for the feedback.

Interesting; my first set from Alex also did not fit. This was back in March and we discovered there are differences in the outlet angle for the 997.2. I will post a pic in the morning. My black steel version looks quite different.

I apologize the image quality using my iPhone is not great. The Fabspeed tips fill the space nicely. I think it is just the angle of the photos that make them look small in the opening.

The 997.1 and 997.2 tips are not interchangeable.

Over the years, Fabspeed has likely collected more tips than a Rabbi.

Looks great.

Here are mine. They are identical to the fabspeeds, but I believe the cheaper maxspeeds. Remember that the .2 bumper opening is larger than the .1, and mine is a .1
Tips have been ceramic coated black.
