Default exhaust system for turbo

just bought a 07 tt and wondering if I can get some input as to what exhaust system will be more aggressive than stock but not too loud inside car. at 53 years old, drone will drive me nuts, but so does the stock exhaust.

Try the Europipe stage 1. Great sound and not drone inside the car.

Only one option in my view.
Europipe stage 1. It is however expensive...
Quality of work is top, and level of service from Stef unparalleled. Its the best mod I could ever dream of. Turbo spooling is audible, tip shifting is smother, all in all a great improvement.
No affiliation just a very happy customer.

Do a search there have been myriads of posts on exhaust...
Good luck with her, enjoy in good health.

Have about 500 miles on my Europipe Stage 1. Love it.

There is a guy on 6speed gmoney, in your area with EP1. I did a local listen in person with my wife. Cold start is delightfully raucous, yet will not disturb neighbors, and quiets down after a minute or so.

Work of art, fit and finish worth the price, TT should have come this way from the factory.

I have an M&M Exhaust that I used on my 09' Turbo Cab for about two months. I bought the 11' Turbo S. It is the cats, mufflers, and tips. It is in excellent condition. You can speak with Rhonda at FVD to verify. PM me if your interested. Roy

I went with Tubi. Found most of the others either too tame or too wild, Tubi was right in the middle. Plenty of growl, very high quality manufacturing, and time-tested with a lot of tuners. Was not looking for something that would cause every housewife to wag fingers at me on the way home, but wanted something above what I had with PSE on my last Porsche. Tubi, w/TechArt twin tips.

I went with a Fabspeed Version 3 on my 07. We will soon see how it sounds in person!

Agree with Eric 100%. Not too much, not too little but the Tubi is just right.

That said it sounds nothing like the Tubi on a Ferrari or the Tubi's I had on my M5 or RS4. No Tubi signature high pitch wail at any RPM. So don't expect that.

I have the Europipe Stage 1 and am happy... no drone, rewarding sound at low throttle input and only screams when you really push it hard....

I had the Fabspeed 70mm for about a year now. It is simply too quiet for me and moved to bypass pipes...fit and finish of Fabspeed exhaust is excellent...I am having however fitment issues with my bypass pipes but am in the process of working that out with them now.
To the OP...sound is subjective. I highly suggest you listen in person to different cars in and out of them...that is the ONLY WAY to see what you like and what you don't. The good news? You have toooooons of options.
