This really nicely optioned silver 2011 997.2 Turbo S came into us for a more sport sound upgrade in the form of the Tubi Exhaust as well as a 20mm ride height adjustment via the TechArt lowering spring kit.
In she comes for surgery...

Off comes the rear bumper, tail lights and heat shields:

And then the intercoolers:

Off comes the heavier and quieter/restrictive factory exhaust and cats:

On go the high-flow Tubi cats:

A shot of the complete exhaust system installed (along with a nice 18 pound weight saving):

Over to the rear suspension which is removed:

The TechArt lowering spring kit is installed and works in conjunction with the factory PASM shocks:

And ready to go home!

Nice....still debating ride height here. Have painted lowers all around too, and scrape a few places as is. But don't want to add the lift kit. Damn.
C'mon Alex, tell me what to do.

I didn't flash it, not sure if I'm going to as the new exhaust pretty much takes care of the power delivery issues. The turbos spin up much quicker, makes for a much more linear experience.
It's not an Akra exhaust and not titanium, but looks a lot like it
I know they are working on it, but I think flashing it would also benefit from revised pdk software for optimal power delivery.
Finally, not sure I can slip may more upgrades - it's been to Marty for audio, premier for coating and Alex for above - by my wife without her demanding a new SUV

Me I have been back in forth on the subject of getting a turbo s for far too long. Finally strengthened my resolve to wait for a 991 when it comes out then updating to a turbo in a few years.
Almost pulled a SuperQuant the other weekend with the S. But cooler heads prevailed.
