This web site seems to be advertising the most on tv today about prices on cars.
http://www.truecar.com/
They had average prices and what dealers offer.

Default Turbo S pricing

When I was shopping a couple of months ago, I was able to get $4000 to $4500 off MSRP from 3 different Southern California dealers. Those were all on ordered cars. I wound up taking nothing off MSRP on the Turbo S 918 Edition from Circle Porsche in Long Beach, CA. When I picked the car up the other day, they had 3 more Turbo S's in stock. 2 were Cabs if that's what you are looking for.

Are all the 2012 Turbo S made with the rocker type buttons for shifting with the PDK and no more paddles?
If so why did they go back?
Seen Shark Werks ad on the paddles and wanted to know was it a change back to the rocker style buttons on the 2012 similar to the earlier 2007-2009?
Last 2012 Turbo S I seen also had the rocker style buttons for shifting.

Mark,
I have yet to see a Turbo S without paddles. When I picked up mine 2 weeks ago, there were 3 others at the dealership---all had paddles. The owners manual does show them though, but can't understand why anyone would order them.

Jim,
That was the first 2012 Turbo S I have seen besides the one Shark Werks were converting over to the paddles..
This 2012 TTS had these 2 options and the rocker style shifter button.
The car had option
844 - 3-Spoke Multi-Function SW
345 - Heated Steering Wheel
Is the Multi-Function wheel the code for without paddles?

997 TT S comes standard with steering wheel with paddles (option on 997.2 TT). However, u can opt out of that and get the multifunction wheel (mutually exclusive)

I got it through Michelle. Whenever I took my 07 TT in for service I'd check out the showroom, and she was always nice, so when I was looking for an S, I asked for her.
