I HAVE A 2007 997 TWIN TURBO AND THE SPECS SAY ITS SUPPOSE TO BOOST 14.5 IN NORMAL MODE AND 17.4 IN SPORT MODE. MY CAR IN SPORT MODE AT LOW RPM THE BOOST WILL GO TO 15 PSI BUT FOR 1 OR 2 SECONDS AND THEN GOES BACK DOWN TO 10 PSI AND STAYS THERE IS THIS NORMAL OR NO !. MY PORSCHE DEALER SAYS ITS NORMAL BUT WITH OUT DOING ANY TESTS , BUT TRIING ONE OF THIERS IN STOCK TO COMPARE THEY SAY THERES HAS THE SAME BOOST PRESSURE !!!!. ANY BODY HAVETHE SAME CAR STOC THAT COULD TELL ME WHAT THIERS BOOST AT !!

Why are you yelling!! (jk) caps off is a lot easier to read. As for your question, in sport mode the overboost is only available in the middle rpm range. I am not sure of the exact rpm point but it is in your manual. Try this, in 4th gear at about 50mph stomp the gas and see if you don't get 17psi....

 

thanks for your reply , what does your car boost at in 3rd gear @ 6000 rpm in sport mode that will really help me.

 

because mine holds boost at 12 psi.
