'07 Turbo - PCM/HVAC Controls: How to clean out coffee from buttons?

Just as the title says, how the HELL do I get the face off so I can clean this thing out. My mom decided it'd be awesome to drive the car without a properly sealed drink in the cup holder. Thing spilled all over and of course she doesnt ever think of cleaning up after herself . Any tips? Oh and yeah, the cup holders are coming out, for good.

Once the PCM is removed, the bezel can be removed....AFAIK, it can not be done in the car.

You can't. The only permanent solution is to give away the car immediately. Give it to me, i think I can live with this shame...

Anywhere to find a writeup to pull apart the PCM? I'd actually like to pull the bezel off and get it painted in slate grey to match, make it a two-fer operation.

PCM removal is straightforward.
Once it is out of the car, you can quite easily see how the bezel comes off.
