A lot of guys use sticky hairspray, that's not 100%. An old circle track trick is to drill 4 tiny holes in the edges of the lip in the 12-3-6-9 o'clock positions( same thing on the backsides) then screw sheet metal screws through the rim into the beed of the tire. Not pretty, but 100% effective.
