Default Adaptive Sport Seats vs Supple Leather Seats

I also posted this in my "ready to buy TT" thread but thought I'd cast a wider net. I'd like some opinions on how important seat choice is. I don't plan to track the Turbo. I've found a few really nice examples but passed because they didn't have adaptive sport seats. This weekend I sat in a Turbo with supple leather seats, and they seemed fine. Are the adaptive sport seats a must-have if I don't plan to track the car?

Thanks,

Andy

I think adaptive sport seats are a must have -- but I am a chic -- so, my needs may not be the same as yours. I highly recommend them though!

sport adaptives are the most comfortable and supportive seat I have ever sat in. I have no problems tracking the car in those seats either - they can be made that snug

The supple leather seats that came in my car were seats you sat ON not IN. Worthless. I got rid of them.

OK - appreciate the feedback. I kind of had my heart set on the adaptive sport seats and it sounds like that's definitely the way to go.

Followed everyone's advice and bought my 997TT today with adaptive sport seats! Thanks for guiding me to the correct (seating) position!

Sport adaptive seats are fine unless your 6'6" weigh 228# & 66 years old in my case I rather have the regular comfort seats. & would love to trade someone for them. My car is a black/black 08 & has side airbags so they would have to be out of the same year car.
