FVDs, need something louder at the track, why not buy my tubis, unless you're used to CELs?
No CELs, never-ever!

No more CEL's - bung extenders have (so far) seemed to do the trick

No, I already have headers. The thing is the tubis worked pretty well this weekend at the glen.
Somebody buy these from me before I change my mind!

Apart from the obvious PIA of CELs and having to constantly reset, isn't the CEL from a cat change a sign that the engine is running out of the ECU programming's parameter range and therefore a sign that more fuel is being burnt/too much air is flowing ? or in summary a sign that extra power is being made somewhere in the rev range ?

I had the CG 200 cell cats on my GT2 (with CG headers) and the CEL came on fairly often, I forget the code but think it said it was emissions related ie lamnda senor going out of range ? I took this as a good thing and the set up made a bit more torque/power in the mid range....

So does that also mean that an exhaust/cat which keeps the CEL off will NOT produce this extra mid range power/torque ?

No and yes, I think a lot of the low end cats were junk and tripped CELs easily. The tubis actually have built in bung extensions.

Is this exhaust still available? I realized I forgot to reply the last time around. Stupid me.

You are being too modest...it's the driver not the tools!
