No. I am dead set against the ceramics. If you track the car you'll have problems and the cost benefit ratio is out of whack IMO, others will feel differently
I had PCCB's on my 05 997S and now on my 09 TT. I was going to order a 2010 GT3 (but decided to go TT instead). After a lot of thought, I was not going to order PCCB's on the GT3; I decided the initial cost plus potential future costs really wasn't worth it. I ended up with PCCB's on my TT only because they were on the otherwise "perfect" car that was on the lot.
In short, I think regular brakes are awesome, and there is no reason why PCCB's are a must have.
I switched to iron rotors on my GT2 after destroying the ceramics in about 10 track days. I am very happy with the switch and haven't noticed any drop in braking performance. I am not a great driver but am a pretty good DE driver so I might not have noticed a subtle difference. II personally would not pay extra for ceramics.
The coolest thing about the ceramics (no pun intended) is the "yellow" color...as others have stated, put in a top quality brake fluid, and the stock brakes are great.

I think the coolest thing about ceramics is no brake dust. But, that wasn't enough for me to consider them must haves. I'm still rollin' with my Big Reds.
