Thanks again all.

This car is a real head-turner. The other day as I was cruising along on the freeway, a couple of early 20-somethings in a riced out import pulled up along side me. I thought they were wanting to see what my car could do (bait which I wouldn't have taken) but instead the passenger rolled down his window, gave me the thumbs up, and took a picture of my car. That was a first for me.

So much for the "chick magnet" label.

+1. I got more looks from women when I had the 993. My wife was sad when I sold it.

I LOVE your rear center console done in your exterior color! I'm about to order this option through my dealer to retrofit. Do you know if the composition of this is the same as the stock console? Is it the actual exterior paint, which feels glossy to the touch, or is it "baked" into the plastic?

Cheers.

PM Eric of Bumper Plugs, a site sponsor. His price will be much less than ordering a second console through Porsche and the quality is as good or better!
His PM is: Eric - Plug Guy

Yes, the center console is the stock console painted with the exterior paint. It is as shiny and smooth as the outside of the car.

Thanks. Yes, I took a lot of time planning this one and I am pleased with the result. I just wish I could have had the painted seatbacks or deviating stitching as well.
