It's much, much harder these days to avoid getting nabbed by radar and laser. I have V1 on my Rturbo, it yields about 50% useful warnings but NOT for pop radar/laser, NOT for instant on radar, and not for manually activated on/off radar in moving vehicles used more often. And, of course, it doesn't jam any lasar; hit and you're dead. A keen eye, watchful of sideroads, and keeping behind other fast movers helps. No tickets in 2 years and I"m a spirited driver.

I have Escort SRX fully integrated laser jammers and radar detectors in my Challenge Stradale. Lots of false laser alarms but it did do a bonafide jam when I was travelling at twice the speed limit on open roads and got hit in a big police tripod laser set up. Pulled over for sure but no claim about my speed, no ticket. One ticket in 4 years by a stealth black van following me.

Btw; my V1 is better than the Passport 8500 I had in a prior Ferrari; and my Escort SRX is becoming obsolete as more laser guns are able to punch through its protective wall -- see reviews by 'Guysoflidar.com'

going on the whole guys of lidar, the best jammer to get these days for laser is the Laser Interceptor. I have one and while it wasnt cheap it sure pissed off a few state troopers in NY and NJ when they tried to snipe me.

I'm very impressed by what I read about 'Laser Interceptor'. I'm considering replacing my Escort SRX jammers with an LI system in both my Porsche and Ferrari. Are you able to share some details such as total cost for you LI, installation cost and/or issues? Thnx.

They were a little slow to ship. Not sure why that was. Totally worth the investment. The look on the face of a state trooper in NJ who was turned around in his sqaud car in full snipe mode on the far right in the dirt around a bend on 78 West. I just laughed at him, as I dumped from 90 to 65 and I could see him fighting with his gun to get a lock and he got nothing. I did the install my self. Keep in mind I did it on my Audi S4. I did 2 sensors mouted both in the grill with one extra out back. Chopped a few grill slats to make room for it but for the most part it was pretty strait forward. I keep my car pretty clean but I will still go over the sensors with a baby wipe to keep dirt away. In the summer I cleaned them a little more often due to bug splats. I live in PA so laser isn't much of an issue but I seem to always cross pathes with laser in NJ and NY and when I go there I'll make sure they're wiped down and ready for action. I've never really gotten shot yet from behind but I got the extra sensor because I know if I didn't murphy would provide me a trooper who found a way to hide and shoot toward the back. All in all it was about a grand. Not sure how much a professional install would run, and to be honest I am not sure where I could find a place that well versed in doing these systems. I also did some additional electronics rigging with my stock navigation system and tapped into the incoming phone call mute system. So when I get shot with laser my radio mutes until the signal stops. It annoys the gf but she even laughed when johnny law had the wtf look on his face as his little toy didn't work. Then he had the nerve to switch to his KA gun and by that time I was already slowed down to slower then normal traffic.

They see you flying by cars and guess at your speed. I was driving a modded Saleen 281SC (465 whp) north on I25 @ 130 and was pulled over by a state tropper and told I was going 100. My V1 never went off.
