Friend got a new car today.
The ACR Vipers msrp @ 100-110K. On a run up to 150mph they are only 1.5 seconds faster then the Z. The car with wing will reach 174 mph, without 205. Awesome looking car specially in blk, but been there done that. For a dd american muscle I prefer the Z06.

technically the acr package is the hardcore package. only difference is some options...not many of em anyway.
the difference in top speed is b/c the rear spoiler on the viper adds a lot of drag at high speeds, it does however add a nice amount of high speed control.
does your buddy know the front splitter on the viper is illeagle for road use?
now i gotta ask, you 2 ever gonna go to a track?

The connards are street legal and here in NM no front plate required.
Track sucks here, too short. Desert mountain run with twisties and straights ....yes. Both cars need a few hundred miles of break in, then we will see.

not the connards, the actual splitter. it has 8 bolts that are removed for street use of the ACR, there's even supposed to be something in the trunk for it to be held. but maybe that's just some states, like here in NJ i would never drive with it on, probably screw it up.
as for research i love vipers, my dad loves vettes...i do a lot of reading on the 2.
track time, you know you'll have to post vids...
