Just had the K40 laser/detector installed and thought that some may want to see or compare where the warning lights are installed.

Looks good. Although I prefer mine where they are in the dash cluster...when going fast or when the roar of the engine, etc., is louder than the beeping noises from the K40 it's nice to have the lights right where you can see them easily...

raclaims, you may well be correct to have them in the dash... I'm a bit green to all this laser detection stuff and I just went with what the installer suggested... next time I may do it differently.

I'm not even super sure that I've got the most effective detector/laser solution available in the market. TBH, I didn't have too much time to research the hardware or installation options.

You will hear 4,000,000,000,000 opinions on this subject but I really like the K40...I haven't gotten a ticket since I installed it...yet the other day in my sponge box Lexus with no radar detector I got a ticket!
