Default Urgent Concern.........

Picked up the new C2S on Friday. It has been cloudy since. I was wiping her down last night and with the glare of the light, I notice a small indentation on the top of the hip of the left rear quarter panel.

Has anyone had to deal with discovering something like this after getting the car home?

What can I expect the dealer to do??

It is very small and nearly un-noticeable except when the light hits it just right.

I even wonder if something as simple as dent-wizard could pull it up. I want the dealer to handle to prevent any further flaws to show up (paint cracking, etc.).

Please help before I take it back today...............thanks so much.

Just call the dealer and make arrangements for their dent guy to fix it.

Congrats on the new car.

Seems like most reasonable dealers would take care of this for you. You haven't done the post-purchase customer sat surveys yet right?

As far as the dent, you should be fine. I had a dent in the rear quarter panel top of the hip before - pretty close to the quarter panel glass. Dent wizard guy fixed it no problem.

I had dent wizard take a small dent out of my previous 993. Couldn't even tell it had been there. Dealer may have known about the dent but wouldn't want to say anything in fear you wouldn't take delivery of the car.

Thanks much for rapid response to my concern.

Took her down and had her fixed in 20 minutes!! Turns out the their are several dealers in a row and they pretty much keep Dent Wizard expert on site.

Much relief.......................
