Not done yet still have have some black alacantra with red stitch to be installed for the seat cushions, shift boot, SC and roof light console. As well as a little CF
and lastly techart black alacantra steering wheel with red stitch on order.

Man the stock seats are heavy! I tried lifting one and Im guessing around 90 pounds each? So far without mufflers and stock seats I figure I'm saving quite a bit of weight and can feel it in the car too. The buckets take some time to get used to but now I can catapult though corners truly awesome!

Yah well I was thinking of replacing the leather from the seats completely with black alacantra and red stitching but decided against it because I think in a year or so I will just replace the seats with carrera GT seats or somthign to that effect so for now I just put those in and will replace the cushions with alacantra. I'm happy with this set-up anyways so its all good.

I'm also interested in putting in some performance modz maybe in 6 monthes or so like GIAC chip, Plenum and some headers. Anyone have any idea how much HP I would be looking at? (with fabspeed muffler by pass)

Next mod: 997 GT2 wing and I think I'm good for a while...hopefully. Wheels coming somtime end of this week can't wait.

factory costed 30 dollars for the insert!

Might change it down the road but I actually kinda like the plastic look to it, not sure if it worth it to switch.

How about a RUF or Techart wing? My 2 favs at the moment.

 

Yah the Ruf is a wicked wing subtle and tasteful and the techart is really nice too.

But if I go techart I'm going to want to go with the whole bodykit as well. And the Ruf well I have never thought the Ruf but isnt it really expensive? I'm doing my best to give myself a budget but it isnt relly working...
