Default check engine light...engine acting weird.

I just got my turbo back from the shop today and I noticed after I took a hairy turn the engine stalled and since then the ride home the car at idle seems to rev really high then die. The PSI seems to not go above 7 or 8 boost and the whistling of the turbo comes from the engine and not the pipes. Also above 4K RPM the car doesnt allow me to rev it any higher and cuts out the power. Hceck engine light came on.

Any ideas what this could be?

Is the check engine light on solid or flashing? If flashing, don't continue to drive it. I had a misfire on several cylinders and had the same rough running symptoms.

Bring it right back to the shop and have them read the code thrown!

Try and get the codes as well. They should be able to give you a printout.

I had the same situation once when a boost hose came loose at the track.
