Default White on Black '08 at HBL in VA.

All - I had to swing by HBL today (which is in Tysons Corner, VA) for a few parts and there happened to be a White on Black Coupe on the showroom floor. Had some nice options and the salesman said it is available. Sticker was around $136-138 IIRC. Absolutely no affiliation and all the requisite disclaimers.....

I saw that too. Looked very nice but after having a white 993, it's just too hard to keep clean for more than an hour.

I think the white is the best looking Porsche - it is their official racing color you know! I have my third white Porsche on order (had a white Boxster S, White 996C4S -for sale, and a white MY08 997 being built this month). I don't find white near as hard to keep clean as the dark colors.

I saw a White 997TT on the Greenway Toll Road yesterday headed north. Along with another White TT in the area which has a black CF roof and then mine - we're getting quite a collection of White TT's in the neighborhood! I hope the HBL car goes out of area! )

Had a white 993 and, surprisingly, found it quite easy to keep clean. A white car is fairly good at looking good when 20%-30% dirty. Over that line, and it looks like crap. But compared with the black cars I've owned, white wins for ease of care.

Yes, that surprised me. I had always heard white was a PITA.

I've never had a white car but this thing was sharp. Had white stitching in the seats which looked great. I can't confirm but I heard somewhere that Porsche is producing more white cars than silver this year and I think that is a nice change.

that white vs silver thread was on the gt3 forum...I think white looks good with black wheels and colored accents on the interior- but prefer colored cars generally. the white tt with a carbon hood sounds cool, like something I'd build on forza2.
