Default My Baby needs shoes!

Greetings all! I'm a relative newcomer as I've only posted twice last year complaining about the 997TT's wheels. As such, I'm proud to announce that I just pulled the trigger on an '07 997 TT, Atlas Grey, Stone leather Adaptive seats, Tip and Sports Chrono!!! Gettin' shipped from Miami to Chicago next week and I CAN'T WAIT!!! Anyway, I'm already looking to replace the wheels with HRE P40's or C20/C21. Anyone have any input on these as far as durability, scratches, looks, performance etc? Any dealer recs in Chicago or suburbs would be greatly appreciated as well! Thanks and I look forward to embracing this ADDICTION!!!!

Congrats and welcome. The P40's would look incredible. I think the trend is toward strong monobloc and lipless wheels. Silver P40's on an Atlas car would be a stunner

Thanks guys!!! I think the GT3 wheels are pretty phenomenal but am leaning towards P40's. They look AMAZING on black but am wondering how they'd look on Atlas. I think they stand out more than GT3 for sure!

Good choices... Those are my favorite HRE wheels. I'm a little more partial to the C20s, but the P40s look magnificent. I'm sure they'd look great on an Atlas car.

Yes the P40's look sic on the Slate also!!! Any issues with care and easy scratching, etc? Are those Tech Art skirts and spoilers too? That's exactly what I'm doing to my car this spring!!! I am however a little concerned about how low the front spoiler is compared to the factory lip as I live downtown Chicago and am driving up and down ramps daily...any issues?

And yes detailjohn I would interested in selling the factory wheels but not til Spring when I do the others mods. PM me and we can talk...Wanna wait til the weather gets a little nicer before trashing those HRE's!!!

Wow Neez are insane looking! I like it better then the HRE's.

Kits accentuate the rims more!

No scratching issues. Grit does collect inside the wheel quite readily though after driving on wet roads. Plus cleaning is a little tricky. Other than that, I love my wheels
