Default Roof transport system

I want to ge the roof transport system.

I can find the kit that had the bars that attach to the mounting points on the roof but I can't find the Pod the can used with the system. I seem to recall a pod for storage that you could buy to attach to the system.

All I can find is this:

I need the storage container to go in that.

Thanks so much. Now to find a place to sell it at a reasonable price, hahahahaha.

David,
Send an email or call the folks at Sunset Porsche parts (www.sunsetimports.com) - they offer all parts at cost+15%. I have purchased a few things from them and can vouch for their excellence.

Here is a link to the parts inquiry form:

They almost always reply within 24 hours.

IIRC, it has been discussed in various forums that a Thule unit fits the Porsche Transport System rails.

Which Thule? Porsche wants like $800 for the storage container! That is nuts!

But at least it will be the genuine article. And remember, image is everything.

Going with the image thing, I ordered all Porsche parts.

A rip off but it should be good!

Truth be told, I would have done exactly the same thing. It will look correct.
