Driving TT in snow and winter weather
I couldn't find a direct post on this topic, so I was wondering what people's *personal* experiences were, not random youtube videos. In particular starting and stopping on a hill and any ground clearance issues. Real-life stuff not high speed drifting.

TT Surgeon is correct.......the "properly setup" are the 2 most important words.
Personally I love it......have told many that winter driving is my off-season auto-cross practice .......bottom line is you can push the car all over, leave everyone behind, have a blast.....yes, clearance is your limet.
Last 2 comments..........1.) I've always used narrower rears than AG recomends....suite yourself..... and 2.)..... never lift.

Yes, as Gregg said, the narrower rears are less ski like. My C4S was great until I put the x73 on it and ground clearance became a major issue. A stock 997TT shoud do well, tire rack has a nice deal on tire/rim combos.

I just posted on this on the "low miles" thread. At standard ride height, it isn not a problem. Winter use is the primary reason I haven't lowered my car. Our cars are much better snow cars than track cars- with the right tires and wheels. AS
