Finally saw another 997TT
A year after intro and 8 mos. after picking up mine, I finally saw another TT on the road today. It was white - a real stunner. The driver, a blonde gal with a heavy foot, didn't have time to exchange a thumbs up.
I thought I'd see a few more around by now, but I'm just as glad that there aren't too many.
How about you other folks. Do you see more than the rare sighting? (Except LA of course)

I've seen only two on L.I. / NY since it was introduced. A white one that I drove last summer (member on 6speed) and a cobalt a few months ago.
The thing that has been most surprising to me has been all the looks, stares, and pointing LOL! I don't think too many people paid much attention to my 997S. What must it be like to drive an F car or lambo?!

I've seen a few but not as many as I expected. There's one in my neighborhood that I see regularly.
I did see a black Mercedes SLR today. And a guy in my office parking lot has a 430 Spyder he drives on nice days. Oh, and I hear another 430 go by my office window on the occasional morning. I can tell it"s the 430 just from the sound. I'll look up and see that indeed, that's it.

I've only seen two thus far here in Taiwan. Most of the people here really don't notice it because most think it's just another Porsche. But speaking of how noticeable a car is, although I don't have a 997 TT, I have a 996 GT3 which get stares only by some. With my F430, I get lots of attention. But topping it all is the Caterham Super 7 which I had the previliege to borrow from a good friend of mine for one week. The Super 7, I would say that 9.5 of out 10 people notice the car, with 8.0 for the F430 and 4.0 for the GT3.

I have been looking since they came out last year in Melbourne Fl. Have never seen one. As of today there are only two that I know of and one is mine.
Around here they are exotic cars.
I get stopped when getting gas and people asking if I am driving the new turbo.
It's great getting all this attention.
In Calif or Washington I am sure it would be so much diffferent.

Bright sun shine, when is that once a week..LOL
Born and grew up on LI, been a few yrs since I been back. I hear the traffic is worse, where do you run your TT ?
Hear in New Mexico there is 5- 15 mile lengths of pavement as far as the eye can see to kick the carbon out of the car. I had my 01 up to 168mph going to Santa Fe and I'm at 6,000ft.

Had one on the track with us 2 months ago. Seal gray.
There are quite a lot of them around here.
