Exhaust Tip Adjustment (eclou??)
Guys,
Recently had an aftermarket exhaust put on the car. Noticed the tips aren't exactly even. (Not terrible, but a little off.)
Would like to try this adjustment myself.
Can anyone comment on the difficulty of this?
Note: I'd rather avoid taking it back only because I don't want to have to wait for it to cool down before the mechanic can adjust.
Thanks.
Tim

I don't know what brand you have, but they all go together about the same. You can make the adjustment in 2 steps.
1)loosen the clamp that connects the muffler of that side to the exhaust pipe then get the pipe close to where you want the tip to be - you should be able to adjust up/down and right/left
2)Then loosen the exhaust tip where it clamps to the exhaust pipe and make your final adjustment - you should be able to adjust some tilt up/down, right/left, and in/out of the bumper.
Good luck

Eclou - Thanks. Sounds pretty straight forward.
