Default FVD engine upgrades

FVD seem to have some interesting engine upgrade stuff on their web site -worth a look

Our Variable geometry turbocharger (VGT) is designed to allow the effective A/R ratio of the turbo to be altered as the conditions change. This is done as the optimum A/R at low engine speeds is very different to the optimum at high engine speeds. By altering the geometry of the turbine housing as the engine accelerates, the turbo's A/R ratio can be maintained at its optimum. Because of this, our VGT turbochargers have almost no lag, have a low boost threshold and are very efficient at higher engine speeds.

TB seems interesting.. wish I could open one of theirs up... We just installed a set of those VTG turbos on a customer's car from another tuner. They bored out in the cold side some and installed a different compressor side but no dynos as yet...
