Default Interest in new Champion/PES wheels?

I am trying to gauge interest in having a run made of Champion/PES wheels done. Need 10 orders to make a production batch. The wheels will be 19x9 fr and 19x12 rr. Weight approx 20# and made at the Champion factory in Japan. These are very strong and light and will be done in silver and in graphite finishes. They will be perfect 997TT/997C4 offsets with no spacers required, no rubbing. Anyone interested PM me

Looks like the wheels are a GO. The wheels will be 19 X 8.5 and 19 X 11.5. This
dimension/offset will work perfect on 996TT and 997TT with no spacers. We are
making silver and graphite. Price is $1250 front and $1375 rear (same as
Champion).

Delivery is approx 70 days for air ($50 more ea.) or 100 days sea.

The contact for anyone interested is info@pes-tuning.com

Just found out the wheels will be machined for the TPMS sensors - no clamping needed!

Great news! Now, I have a decision to make. These or the Kinesis F110s. Maybe I'll create a poll and let everyone else decide for me LOL

I have some teaser pics - did not have time to mount the TPMS sensors and tires yet. The offset is about as aggressive as you can get - the wheel is just short of the edge of the fender lip. The initial orders being taken are getting 10% off by PES

Offsets are

ET 48 front
ET 40 rear

supposedly this will fit perfectly on both the 996TT and 997TT

these offsets look fairly aggressive for 997tt fitments. i would venture to say they are closer to 996tt fit but i haven't gone through the math to prove. based on eyeballing the fit, the 997tt can tolerate a little less offset than stock (56 frt / 51 rr).

The PES wheels are 8.5 front and 11.5 rear. Stock is 8.5 front and 11 rear. Looking at the offsets

FR stock ET is 56mm, PES is 48mm so the front wheels are moved outboard 56 - 48 = 8mm

RR stock ET is 51, PES is 40, so the rear wheels are moved outboard 51 - 40 = 11mm. PES wheel is 12mm (.5") wider, which pushes the wheel lip inboard and outboard another 6mm, thus the PES wheel outer lip is going to be 11 + 6 = 17mm more outboard.

I am going to mount the tires this week and see how it looks and check for clearance issues

You're right on the 8mm and 17mm - one question I've always had is should the movement outboard be the same both front and rear and if so then you would need a spacer (9mm?) for the front. With this setup the rears will be 9mm futher outboard of the fronts than the stock setup - don't know if it makes a handling difference or not.

Cooperlee is running almost the exact same offsets using 7mm front and 15mm rear H&R spacers with stock wheels:

With Copperlee's spacer setup his equivalent offsets are 49mm F and 36mm R - still doesn't answer my question about changes (either created by offsets or spacers) that cause F and R differences from OEM. Just curious if there is anything better/worse about this tyope of setup.
