I got a discount months ago...and did no prior business with the dealer. I found several dealers willing to discount...just show them that you are serious and call a bunch of dealers.

no discount here. i was lucky to find a dealer who would let me spec out a car. i have had my car for about a month. i got to give raclaims credit in getting a discount. look at all the people who paid over msrp, especially from the florida dealers. i remember during the summer, there were posters here who were rationalizing their paying way over list so that they could get an early car. i was offered a bunch of cars by dealers that had a few hundred miles on them, were bought by flippers. and were being sold for 15k over msrp during july-sept..

Thanks Doc...I actually could have gotten the car sooner from a dealer out of state but decided I'd rather get it locally than deal with shipping it, etc.

By the way, I have not forgotton your generous offer to go for a ride...just been nuts with the holidays, etc. I will be in touch soon.

my local dealer in VA has 3 unaccounted for coming in the next couple of weeks. Im sure within a month or two, you'll be able to get some $$ off.

i guess that in some areas, supply is hitting demand. if people like you keep posting these availabilities, then other people, who would have had to wait 6 more months, can take advantage of these availabilities.
