yeah, i have wondered about cobalt blau over the terracotta interior, never seen pics of that at all. I like the pics of it I have seen when paired with a grey or black.

I personally find it the most objectionable interior. But some like it and that's good enough for me.
I think I'd trade the car after a month or so, that interior screams at me.

The Terracotta isn't working for me with all colors. You could always go the Leather To Sample direction,--not really that much more expensive when you think about it. They had a serious Lipstick Red interior many years ago. On the right exterior it is killer (and hides the blood).

I saw it in person and it's literally painful. Maybe if the carpets weren't orange...
Anyway...even the dealer said you would have a really tough time reselling the car.
Allegretto put it perfectly...it's objectionable.
But if you like orange I guess it's perfect.

Can-can red is the really bright 'lipstick' red someone mentioned earlier. That's a really bright red, unlike Boxster red which is duller and, I'm told, turns to "Boxster pink" after fading in the sun for a few years.
Terracotta needs to be seen in person before making a snap decision. I don't find it bright, it's more of a dark pumpkin than anything else. The two-tone sets it off nicely. Also, I've only received compliments on my interior, but then again, people don't usually walk up to other people and say, "Damn, your car's interior is really awful."

I guess my biggest problem with terracotta is that EVERYTHING in the car is that color. It would be much nicer if it were broken up a bit with black, which is why I prefer the two tone. But even then, there is just too much of a good thing for me. A friend of mine just got an SL65 with the berry (red) interior and it is amazing - but there's lots of black. Same goes with the M5 red interior - looks great becaue it's broken up a bit.
