i'm guessing that the CGT was getting the Ohlins so that it could have the hydraulic lifting kit, same as what's on Leon's or my car.

As we know, the CGT can have lots of problems clearing driveways or tall speedbumps, and the ability to raise the front by an inch or so at the press of a button-- much like on a Murcielago-- is a welcome feature.

actually JV I went for the Bilstein/eibach setup, might live to regret though...

oh! so sorry, you're right-- i don't know why i forgot that!

why did you decide on the Bilstein/Eibachs by the way? ride? handling?

that option was never really a possibility for us, primarily because road conditions over here are so poor that even 100% stock 996 Turbos will regulary ground their chins. so the hydraulic lift was a must-have!
