Jason,

Your pixs are way better than the official ones Porsche released. They would help in marketing efforts for sure. Just an idea...

You got me to consider cobalt blue now.

Great job!

You're very welcome Lenzo. I enjoyed taking these pictures. You can bet that I'll be posting many more as time comes along. Just have to wait for the weather to improve.

MPS, I would love to take promotional shots for Porsche. In fact, I've been angling to do just that. Know anyone I should contact? As for Cobalt, it's the color to have, IMHO. It's such a beautiful color in differing light conditions that I'd be hard pressed (really) to go with anything else.

P.S: Do you normally drive around with banana peel on the driver's seat?
I thought the exact same thing when I saw that pic! BTW - I really like the GT3 wheels on the car. Better than the Turbo wheels, IMO.

I do not have any direct contact other than dealership but I would just send the pictures to Germany. Please do it.

Possibly someone on Rennteam site can offer help with contacts. My hobby is to take pictures of my cars and even with Nikon D200 my pictures are not good enough to post in comparison to yours.

As for color, I always disliked light blue but when I saw cobalt I was stunned. Still considering Atlas, Meteor, Midnight, Black and Silver for possible order on x-50 when it comes. I am just afraid that the cobalt may not age well if I decide to keep it for a long time.

Hey Jason, in that last snow pic what is that in the brush? it looks like the backend of a truck or something.

As always great pictures thanks for sharing. My wife is a photo nut as well and enjoys your pics. So keep em coming.

I love those GT3 wheels. Nice to see em on there

You better be at the Autocrosses this year in Bremerton. I will be running my father-in-law's 996.

Those snow pictures are just amazing, deserving to be in a gallery if I had any say. Keep the excellent work up.

MPS, I'll try to find a way to send my pictures to those guys in Zuffenhausen. Don't be so hard on yourself...I started out somewhere and so did you. I'm always happen to see any shots taken by anyone. Post some. Go with Cobalt if you choose a blue. It's probably the best color to come out of Porsche and believe me, it will be timeless.

Zipgun, that's a fully restored vintage WWII era trailer. I'll try to take some better pictures of it if you'd like. Hardly a place for it but that's the only place I had for it.

Seric, I'll try to make it up to one of those autocrossing events. No promises though.

Thanks for the props everyone!

And that RUF belongs to CP on here. Awesome car to have/drive. More pictures can be found here: http://jasontang.virtuality.org/ruf

Jason

Great photography ... They are pro quality.

One of the car mags, car & driver or road & track has an annual photography contest that you should enter some of your shots.

To protect your claim to your work you should put your name and copyright on the your photos.

You should consider freelancing for some of the car mags, local newspapers or ad agencies. The jobs come with special perks such as pit passes to races or invites to launch events.
