For those interested, here is a short clip from about 30 mph to 122 mph starting in 2nd gear. Notice the new redline and the sustained boost beyond 4000 rpm. Enjoy.

Nice clip, thanks for sharing it.
As I said before Todd knows his stuff. Awesome view of the boost staying to 1.2 bar until shifting, thats gotta feel like a rush. Cant wait to do my turbo.
Did you change the exhaust yet on yours, if not do you plan on it soon.
Thanks again and NICE camera work holding it steady while hitting the throttle.

Thanks Bajo, I am planning on doing the exhaust but I wanted to see what Europipe comes up with. The ones available now don't sound that good to me, I am more interested in sound than in power gains from the exhaust. By the way Todd recommended Europipe or Fabspeed for best value. The car does sound better now after almost 6000 miles but it still needs a nice exhaust.

Thanks cooperlee, I know about cargraphic, unfortunately this is one of the brands that the tuner said people had some trouble with. He did not elaborate so I am going to wait and compare all of them if possible before committing to any expensive exhaust.

I would like to hear the Borla system whenever they get it done, my fave so far has to be the Fabspeed Moderate which is what I had on my GT2. The Fabspeed for the 997TT actually sounds better with no resonance.
The resonance or "drone" on my GT2 did not bother me one bit.
I personally dont want to spend over $3k on a exhaust I will end up taking off when I sell/trade the car in.

below msg straight from Cargraphic headquarters...
This 997 System is designed to meet TUV approval in Europe. This is the most stringently regulated governing body of street vehicles in the world. The 997 Turbo Exhaust not only meets but exceeds all TUV requirements. This exhaust is designed to work with all factory sensors and mounting points. Porsche and Cargraphic share a VERY close relationship in Germany and work together designing, developing and testing exhaust systems. Cargraphic is ecstatic with the outcome of this new exhaust, and that says a lot because the German usually don't get that excited about anything.

Maxwell, I don't know about the stock 996 TT's boost, but a stock 997 TT runs 0.9 bar at full throttle all the way to redline in standard mode and in overboost mode it gets to 1.2 bar from 2000 till 4000 rpm, after which it drops back to 0.9 bar.
